Cold front expected in the US in the next few days.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) Weather Prediction Service predicts an unseasonably strong cold front across the whole US over the next few days. Temperatures are expected to drop by 15 to 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Highs in the central plains are expected to drop from 100+ to 70s from Sunday to Monday, while in the Northeast temperatures will drop from 90 to 70°F.

Meanwhile, it is expected that Claudette will re-intensify into a tropical storm from a tropical depression on Monday. Heavy rainfall and flash flooding is expected across portions of northern Alabama, Florida panhandle and Georgia on Sunday, and into the Carolinas on Monday morning. North Carolina will have tropical storm conditions today night and also on Monday. A tropical storm warning is in effect.
