The long awaited UFO report has been released by the US government. Yesterday, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence submitted to US Congress a preliminary report about the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) that shows the progress the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force (UAPTF) has made in understanding UAP.
While the US government believes that the UAP sightings are not attributed to alien activity, they cannot explain most of them. In the 9-page report, it explains that some UAPs might be due to sensor anomalies.
In the report, it mentions the inconsistency in reporting UAPs in the past, and ‘there was no standardized reporting mechanism until the Navy established one in 2019’. The reports of UAPs mentioned in the document are specifically the ones which were witnessed by military aviators and reliable systems. A total of 144 reports from USG were made between 2004 and 2021, the majority were made in the last two years. Of these, 80 reports have been detected by observation with multiple sensors.
The report which goes on to explain what might be the reason of the UAPs concludes by saying that to find an explanation for the UAPs requires analytic, collection and resource investment.
