Huge explosion in Kharj close to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

According to state-run Saudi Press Agency, a huge explosion was heard in Kharj, Saudi Arabia, southeast of Riyadh, at 5.10am local time.
Local authorities said that the explosion was caused by unused ammunition that went off for an unknown reason. The explosion occurred in the desert close to the Prince Sultan Air Base, a major air base harbouring around 2,500 US troops.
Brigadier Gen. Turki al-Malki said that it was an accident and luckily there were no casualties or injuries.
Thankfully, no damages or injuries have occurred. The incident is being monitored by competent authorities.
