On Monday at around 10:12am an explosion occurred in west Lafayette, Indiana, USA specifically in a warehouse at Indy Scales on Coleman Court, near 36th Street. The plume of smoke emanating from the building was seen from across the Wabash river.

One person was injured in the explosion and was rushed to the hospital. More details to follow.
