The Russian nuclear submarines of projects 955 Borey, 955A Borey-A and 949A Antey started leaving their permanent base in the beginning of November. It is unknown as to why such massive manoeuvre was conducted, but escalating tensions between NATO and Russia due to Eastern Ukraine could be a major factor.
