A huge explosion has been reported in the market square in Halle, Germany. The explosion happened at around 6 p.m. in the public toilets in the Marktschlösschen on the market square. Three people were injured in total according to police.

A 12- year old and a 13- year old were seriously injured in the explosion and were rushed to the hospital. A 51- year old woman was slightly injured. It is yet unknown what caused the explosion.
