Explosion at Camp Minden in Minden, Louisiana, USA.

On Friday morning, an explosion and subsequent fire was reported at the black powder facility in Camp Minden, Minden, Louisiana, USA. The call came at 9:45am, and firefighters quickly responded, and the fire was extinguished by 11.30am. According to Sheriff Jason Parker around 15 workers were inside the building when the explosion occurred.

The scene was cordoned off and crews with the Louisiana State Police were seen wearing Hazmat suits. There will be a 24-48 hour waiting period to make sure nothing else at the factory ignites. An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the explosion.
