On Monday night, a shooting in St. Louis’ Greater Ville neighborhood, Missouri, USA, claimed the lives of three people. Four people were injured and rushed to the hospital.

A police spokesman told USA today that two bodies were found at 7.30pm near a curb outside a convenience shop. They had multiple gunshot wounds. The third body was found near a schoolyard.

All the three victims are from St.Louis and their age range from 31-44. They were all found dead at the scene. The other four injured ages ranging from 28-47 had gunshot wounds and had to be taken to hospital. It is not yet known what was the motive behind the attack.

St.Louis is unfortunately not new to such murders. Last year there were 262 killings in the neighbourhood and is following the same pace this year. It is one of the deadliest neighbourhoods in the US.

An investigation has been launched to determine the motive and attempt to find the killer/s.
