Fire breaks out in the remaining part of the building in surfside building in Miami.

In an ever more unfortunate situation for the 12-storey partial building collapse in Surfside on Thursday, fire has broken out in the remaining part of the Champlain tower building. The 12-storey residential building located in the intersection of 88th Street and Collins Avenue, Miami, housed 136 apartments. On Thursday at 1.30am, 55 of the 136 apartments collapsed.

So far, four people have died and dozens are still unaccounted for. Some of those that are missing might not have been at home when the building collapsed.
