Chance of cyclone over east-southeast of Savannah, Georgia, USA.

The US National Hurricane Center (NHC) said on Monday that a small low pressure system located 300 miles east-southwest of Savannah, Georgia has a 50% chance of developing into a cyclone within the next 48 hours.

It has some potential to become a tropical depression or tropical storm before reaching the coast of Georgia or southern South Carolina by this evening.

Heavy rain is expected late Monday morning into the evening, with wind gusts reaching reaching 40 miles per hour.
