Moments ago, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported a 4.7-magnitude earthquake that struck 19 km southwest of Hualien City, Taiwan at a shallow depth of 20km.
The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might revised in the next hours or minutes as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their report.
